Congratulations To Jim Rash
Congratulations are in order, of course, to Community's Jim Rash for taking home the Writing (Adapted Screenplay) Oscar for The Descendants. He and his co-winners, Nat Faxon and Alexander Payne, took the stage to receive the award during the 2012 84th annual ceremony.
In case you missed it, though, the best part wasn't just that the three won the Oscar. Jim Rash took a moment to strike an Angelina Jolie right leg pose, one in which the actress used to steal much of the evening's spotlight with.
'I hope it was okay,' Rash later said at the Governors Ball. 'I hope she thought it was okay. It was a loving tribute.'
Community / Infiniti 2010 Commercials For The Emmys
Did you know that before the beginning of Season 2, the cast of Community filmed a series of cross-promotional commercials with Japanese luxury car maker Infiniti for the Primetime Emmy Awards? The great thing about what was produced was that everyone stayed in character which kept things so much fun to watch.
Check them out:
- Community / Infiniti - Road to the Emmys - Promo 1
- Community / Infiniti - Road to the Emmys - Promo 2
- Community / Infiniti - Road to the Emmys - Promo 3

The commercials represent a certain irony since they are about the Emmy Awards yet Community itself is continually snubbed for any category of Emmy consideration.
Community Rounds Out 'Stars Of Tomorrow'
During the month of February, Hulu ran a 'Stars of Tomorrow' four round tournament-bracket style poll which pit popular TV rising stars against each other for fans to vote on. Community has always been a favorite on Hulu, and this latest poll proves once more how loved the show continues to be.
Believe it or not, in the last round it all comes down to just Donald Glover and Alison Brie. Both beat out all others with only those two remaining. So no matter who wins, Community can't lose!
Go here to see who the other contenders were in the weeks past and which one of the two Community stars took home the title:
UPDATE:
Voting has now ended, and the winner is Donald Glover! Congratulations to him, but props to Alison Brie for also making it to the final round. Well done, Community fans!
Girls Of Community Roundtable Interview
Community may have gotten its forced-hiatus notice late last year, but that didn't keep production of the show from continuing. In fact, Community just recently wrapped up filming its final Season 3 episode which completed the last twelve of the season. Right after shooting finished up, The Daily Beast's Jace Lacob sat down with the girls of Community - Yvette Nicole Brown, Gillian Jacobs, staff writer Megan Ganz, and Alison Brie - for a roundtable interview.

Community Returns On March 15th
Community creator Dan Harmon tweeted today that the show is coming back to its Thursday 8PM time slot beginning March 15.
NBC also made the confirmation. 'We are happy to have an unprecedented amount of original content on NBC this spring,' said Robert Greenblatt, Chairman of NBC Entertainment. He went on to say that new comedies Bent, Best Friends Forever and Betty White’s Off Their Rockers are 'welcome additions to the Wednesday schedule, and we know that the loyal fans of Community will be pleased with its return to its home on Thursdays at 8PM.'
By bringing Community back, 30 Rock moves to 8:30PM and Parks And Recreation will go on hiatus until April 19 where that show will then take over Up All Night's 9:30PM slot.
Hopefully the positive momentum (especially the continued critical praise) that Community was riding the weeks before it was benched will continue to build even stronger with this new announcement. If anyone has been following the NBC Thursday night ratings since Community was taken off the air, they will see that putting 30 Rock in its place didn't really help NBC at all. CBS shows continued to dominate Thursday nights. In fact, just last week all the NBC Thursday night comedies hit series lows in ratings even though they all aired new episodes.
With Community returning to finish out its season, lets hope this means that the show will still be in the running for a 4th season Fall renewal. Keep your fingers crossed!
