February 7 Is The New October 19

NBC updated its mid-season schedule, and they have put in a premiere date for Community.  Mark your calendars for February 7th!

The show will return to its 'home' time slot of Thursdays at 8PM, once again going up against The Big Bang Theory.

Happy October 19th!

Friday, October 19, 2012.  It was supposed to be the season 4 premiere date for Community.  But several weeks back, NBC decided to delay the premiere indefinitely following the poor performance of some of its Fall 2012 comedies.

While no future date has been set, the Community characters now have a video explaining the significance of October 19th:

To quote Abed in the video: 'the minds behind this shift know exactly what they're doing.'  Oh, the sarcasm!

Community Wins Several 2012 EWwy Awards

Entertainment Weekly held voting for their 5th annual 2012 EWwy Awards, and Community scored big.

The show ended up winning:

• Best Comedy Series
• Best Actor, Comedy - Joel McHale
• Best Supporting Actor, Comedy - Danny Pudi
• Best Supporting Actress, Comedy - Alison Brie
